Anxiety

Anxiety

Description

Anxiety is related to the tendency to worry, nervousness, and fear.

Individuals with high anxiety scores tend to be shy, fearful, nervous, tense, and easily worried. They have a propensity for diffuse anxiety, meaning they are more likely to experience concerns and worries about various aspects of their life, not necessarily tied to specific fears or phobias.

People with low anxiety scores are generally calm and relaxed. They tend not to worry excessively and do not concern themselves with things that could go wrong.

Situational examples

An anxious person may experience intense social anxiety before meeting new people, constantly worrying about what others might think of them.
A person with low anxiety may approach new social encounters with confidence, without being overwhelmed by negative thoughts. They can make friends more easily and enjoy social interactions without excessive concerns.
